Auto Detour Details
Some sections of the course are either too rugged, too narrow, or otherwise too ... something, to
allow vehicles (or more than one team car) to use. So, we've defined some detours that either all, or all but one,
team cars are required to take. The descriptions of these auto detours are downloadable
here. The detours are marked on the course maps for each individual day of the Relay, in
colors that are distinct from the magenta lines indicating the running route.
